Task Center Fault

Task Center Fault

The Task Center, the Service Detail Record (SDR) Agent node, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and API Gateway SB node are deployed on the PUB-SRV01 and PUB-SRV02 nodes. If the Task Center service is unavailable, the VM where the Task Center service is located may be faulty or the Combined API service process may be abnormal. The VPC, Combined API, Task Center, SDR, API Gateway, and CCS services use the same GaussdbHA as their backend databases. The GaussdbHA is deployed on PUB-DB01 and PUB-DB02 nodes. If the database service is unavailable, the VM where the database is located may be faulty or the database service process may be abnormal.

A Task Center service node exception is detected on the monitoring page and needs to be rectified.

Possible Causes

Task Center is not running properly.

Fault Demarcation Methods

Figure 24-9 shows the fault demarcation methods.

Figure 24-9 Fault demarcation methods

  1. Check whether you can log in to the PUB-SRV01 and PUB-SRV02 where the Task Center service is deployed.

    • If yes, go to 4.
    • If no, go to 2.

  2. Restore the VM. For details, see Cloud Service Management Plane Fault Diagnosis.
  3. Contact technical support for assistance to reinstall the Task Center service.

    The task is complete.

  4. Use PuTTY to log in to the Task Center service node PUB-SRV01 and PUB-SRV02.

    • Login address: Management IP address of the PUB-SRV01 and PUB-SRV02
    • Account: apitask
    • Default password: cnp200@HW

  5. Run the following command to disable user logout upon system timeout:

  6. Run the following command to check whether the Task Center process exists:

    ps -ef|grep jetty

    • If yes, go to 7.
    • If no, go to step 8.

  7. Run the following command to start the Task Center process:

    sh /opt/taskcenter/taskcenter-service/bin/

  8. Run the following command to restart the Task Center process:

    cd /opt/taskcenter/taskcenter-service/bin/

  9. Check whether the alarm is cleared after the restart.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

  10. Perform 1 to 9 on all the other faulty VMs.
