Installing the Service Deployment System

Installing the Service Deployment System

This section describes how to install the service deployment system. After the system is installed, you can use it to install ManageOne services.

Prerequisites

The installation tool package has been configured.

Procedure

  1. Open the ManageOne_init_tools folder on your PC and execute the init_global.bat file:

    1. When the following information is displayed, enter the password of the root user and press Enter:
Input the root password for all nodes:
    2. When the following information is displayed, enter the password of the sopuser user and press Enter:
Input the sopuser password for all nodes:

The default password of the sopuser user is D4I$awOD7k.

    3. When the following information is displayed, enter 5 and press Enter:
      **********************************************************

      1. init disk for all nodes

      2. add deployFloatIP for deploy node

      3. add ocServiceFloatIP for service01 node

      4. add scServiceFloatIP for service03 node

      5. upload software to deploy node

      6. install deploy system to deploy node

      7. add ntp to deploy node

      8. generate configuration file

      9. add config dns ip

      **********************************************************
Please choose which step to start:

If any error occurs, rectify the faults as instructed in Table 26-10.

      NOTE:

The number n indicates that the initialization starts from step n and proceeds in sequence.

      Table 26-10 Script step description

      Step

      Description

      Solution to Errors

      1. init disk for all nodes

Initialize data disks of all the VMs.

check the username and password and check whether each VM has only one system disk and one data disk by referring to section Performing the Preinstallation Check. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 1 when you are asked which step to start. Initialize the data disks as instructed in 1.d.

      2. add deployFloatIP for deploy node

Configure the floating IP address of the Deploy nodes.

Check the values of deployFloatIP and subnetMask in the conf.ini file. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 2 when you are asked which step to start.

      3. add ocServiceFloatIP for service01 node

Configure the floating IP address of the O&M nodes.

Check the values of serviceFloatIP and subnetMask in the conf.ini file. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 3 when you are asked which step to start.

      4. add scServiceFloatIP for service03 node

Configure the floating IP address of the operation nodes.

Check the values of scServiceFloatIP and subnetMask in the conf.ini file. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 4 when you are asked which step to start.

      5. upload software to deploy node

Upload and decompress a software package to a target directory.

Check the value of deployIP01 in the conf.ini file. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 5 when you are asked which step to start.

      6. install deploy system to deploy node

      Install Deploy services.

Check the values of deployIP01, azName, regionAlias, certdays, lang, and projectName in the conf.ini file. Perform VM environment clearing on the regionAlias-ManageOne-Deploy01 node and execute the init_global.bat file. Enter 1 when you are asked which step to start. For details about VM environment clearing, see section How Do I Clear the VM Environment?

      7. add ntp to deploy node

Configure the NTP clock source for the VM.

Check the value of NTPIP in the conf.ini file. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 7 when you are asked which step to start. For details about configuring VM NTP information, see How Do I Configure the NTP Clock Source for the Deployment System Node?

      8. generate configuration file

      Generate a configuration file.

Check the values of all the parameters in the conf.ini file. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 8 when you are asked which step to start.

      9. add config dns ip

Configure a DNS address for the VM.

Check the values of all the parameters in the conf.ini file. Execute the init_global.bat file and enter 9 when you are asked which step to start.

    4. When information similar to the following is displayed, enter 0 and press Enter:
      **********************************************************

      0. init disk for all nodes

      ...

      **********************************************************
Please choose which server to init disk(Multiple can be spaced by ','):
      NOTE:
      • The number 0 indicates that all the VM nodes will be initialized. Each number (1, 2, 3, 4) indicates that the corresponding VM node will be initialized. For example, if you enter 1, the regionAlias-OM-Global-Deploy01 node will be initialized. If multiple VM nodes need to be initialized, separate the numbers with commas (,). The VMs are initialized in ascending order of the entered number. If a VM fails to be initialized, the initialization ends and the follow-up VMs cannot be initialized.
      • Manually initialize the nodes whose data disks cannot be initialized in this section. For details, see How Do I Manually Initialize Data Disks?
      • After the VM initialization, the operations in Table 26-10 can be automatically performed.
      • If the log center service is not installed, the log center nodes are not included in the previous information.
    5. Wait for about 60 minutes. If information similar to the following is displayed, the configuration has been successful:
      "init job successful"
      Press any key to continue...

  2. Log in to the service deployment system (https://Floating IP address of the Deploy nodes:31943) using a web browser. If the login is successful, the service deployment system has been successfully installed. Otherwise, contact technical support for assistance.
