Downloading an Object Fails Because the Browser Time Is 15 Minutes or More Later than the Server Time


If the difference between the browser time and the server time is shorter than15 minutes, you can download an object successfully. If the browser time is 15 minutes or more later than the server time, downloading an object will fail.


An error message reading "Request has expired" is reported during object download.

Possible Causes

The browser time is at least 15 minutes later than the server time.


  1. On the management terminal, open the browser.

    This document uses Internet Explorer 11.0 as an example to explain how to log in to DeviceManager in a Windows operating system.

    Ensure that Internet Explorer 11.0 is not working in compatibility view mode. If the browser is not compatible with DeviceManager, adjust the browser settings when prompted.

  2. Type https://IPv4:8088 or https://[IPv6]:8088 in the address box and press Enter.

    IPv4 or IPv6 indicates the management IP address of the FusionStorage.

    If you cannot log in to DeviceManager using a management IP address, recover the management network and try again.

  3. If There is a problem with this website's security certificate is displayed, click Continue to this website (not recommended) to go to the DeviceManager login page.
  4. Set Username and Password and click Log In. Then, type them in Username and Password. If you type an incorrect user name or password for two consecutive times, you need you type a verification code in Verification code, and then click Log In.

    The default user name and password are admin and Admin@storage, respectively.

  5. Choose Settings > Cluster Settings > Time Settings. The cluster time is displayed.


    The cluster time is the server time.

  6. Change the time of the PC where the browser is located to be the same as the server time.
