Determine the Active and Standby Nodes of the Deployment System

Application Scenario

This section describes how to determine the active and standby nodes of the deployment system.

  1. Use PuTTY to separately log in to the regionAlias-ManageOne-Deploy01 and regionAlias-ManageOne-Deploy02 nodes in SSH mode.

    Default account: sopuser; default password: D4I$awOD7k

  2. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

    su - root

    Default password: Changeme_123

    Password: Password of the root user

  3. Run the following command to identify the active and standby nodes:

    [ -f /opt/oss/manager/var/share/standby_flag_file ] && echo "The current Node is standby Node."

    If the following command output is displayed, the node is the standby node. If no command output is displayed, the node is the active node.

    The current Node is standby Node.
