Configuring Service Parameters on the OM Plane

This section describes how to manually configure service parameters on the OM plane so that ManageOne can run properly.

Prerequisites

The application services have been installed. For details, see Installing Application Services.

Procedure

  1. Check the password validity period of the OS.

    1. Use PuTTY to log in to each node as user sopuser.

      The default password of user sopuser is D4I$awOD7k.

    2. Run the following command to switch to user root:

      su - root

      The default password is Changeme_123.

    3. Check whether the command output contains the information similar to the following:
      Your password will expire in 22 days.
      • If the command output contains the preceding information, run the passwd command to change the password and go to 2.
      • If the command output does not contain the preceding information, go to 2.

  2. Open the ManageOne_init_tools folder on your PC and execute the conf_service.bat file:

    1. When the following information is displayed, enter the password of the root user and press Enter:
      Input the root password for all nodes:
    2. When the following information is displayed, enter the password of user sopuser and press Enter:
      Input the sopuser password for all nodes:

      The default password of user sopuser is D4I$awOD7k.

    3. Wait about 1 minute. If information similar to the following is displayed, the configuration has been successful:
      "config service successful"
      Press any key to continue...

  3. Log in to the service deployment system, and then choose Deployment > Microservice Deployment > Environments from the main menu.

    Select All from the drop-down list in the right pane, enter MessagingBrokeService, and press Enter.

    Click the Global environment name corresponding to MessagingBrokeService. On the displayed page, check the value of Stage status. If the value is Successful, the configuration has been successful.

  4. Perform the following substeps to disable the BackendERService CN check function:

    1. Use PuTTY to log in to the O&M node regionAlias-ManageOne-Service01 as the ossuser user.

      The default password of the ossuser user is 79y52unx@R.

    2. Run the following command to modify the configuration item:

      cd /opt/oss/Product/apps/BackendERService/etc/nginx/conf

      vi nginx_ber.conf

    3. Press i to enter the editing mode and change ssl_verify_cn on to ssl_verify_cn off.
    4. Press Esc to exit the editing mode, enter :wq, and press Enter.
    5. Log in to the O&M node regionAlias-ManageOne-Service02, and repeat 4.b to 4.d.
    6. Restart BackendERService. For details, see Restarting a Parent Microservice.
