lacp preempt delay
Function
The lacp preempt delay command sets the LACP preemption delay.
The undo lacp preempt delay command restores the default LACP preemption delay.
By default, the LACP preemption delay is 30 seconds.
Usage Guidelines
To use this command, the following conditions must be set:
- The Eth-Trunk works in LACP mode. To change the operation mode of an Eth-Trunk to the LACP mode, run the mode lacp-static command in the Eth-Trunk interface view.
- Priority preemption has been enabled on the current Eth-Trunk. To enable priority preemption, run the lacp preempt enable command in the Eth-Trunk interface view.
After LACP priority preemption is enabled and the lacp preempt delay command is used, if the faulty link (link A) recovers, and if the priority of the link is higher than that of the current active link (link B) and the number of current active links reaches the upper threshold, link A replaces link B and becomes active after delay-time seconds.
If priority preemption is enabled but the delay for preemption is not set, the interface with a higher priority preempts the interface with a lower priority according to the default delay for preemption.
