efm error-frame threshold
Function
The efm error-frame threshold command sets the threshold for detecting EFM errored frames on an interface.
The undo efm error-frame threshold command restores the default threshold for detecting EFM errored frames on an interface.
By default, the threshold for detecting EFM errored frames on an interface is 1.
Parameters
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
threshold | Specifies the threshold for detecting EFM errored frames. |
The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 65535. The default value is 1. The value 0 is not recommended. |
Usage Guidelines
Usage Scenario
After the efm error-frame period period commands is executed to set the period for detecting EFM errored frames on an interface, run the efm error-frame threshold threshold command to set the threshold for detecting errored frames. Run the efm error-frame notification enable command to enable an interface to detect EFM errored frames. When the number of detected errored frames during the period reaches or exceeds the threshold specified by threshold, the local device generates an alarm and notifies the peer device of the alarm event.
Prerequisites
EFM has been enabled globally using the efm enable command.
