license server
Function
The license server command specifies the IP address of the license server on a license client. This IP address must be the same as the CAPWAP source address configured on the license server.
The undo license server command deletes the local IP address of the license server on a license client.
By default, no IP address is set for the license server.
Usage Guidelines
Usage Scenario
After centralized license control is enabled, you can run the license server command on a license client to set an IP address for the license server, so that the license client can set up a link with the license server and be managed by the license server.
Prerequisites
The local IP address of the license client has been configured. Run the license client source { ip-address ip-address | ipv6-address ipv6-address } command to configure a local IP address for a license client.
- When VRRP HSB is configured for license clients, configure different local IP addresses for the active and standby license clients.
- If this configuration is skipped, the first CAPWAP source address is used as the local IP address of a license client by default.
Precautions
- If VRRP is configured for the license server, the VRRP virtual IP address is set as the IP address of the license server.
- In a dual-link HSB networking scenarios, if wireless configuration synchronization and centralized license control are enabled, you do not need to run this command. The master AC automatically becomes the license server, and local ACs automatically become license clients.
