ips signature-id


The ips signature-id command creates a user-defined signature with the specified ID.

The undo ips signature-id command deletes all user-defined signatures or the user-defined signature with the specified ID.


ips signature-id signature-id

undo ips signature-id { signature-id | all }


Parameter Description Value
signature-id Specifies the ID of a user-defined signature. The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 1024.
all Deletes all IPS signatures. -

A view is created when you create a user-defined signature. All fields in the signature use the default values.
