Function

The igmp-snooping max-user command configures the maximum number of global multicast group memberships.

The undo igmp-snooping max-user command deletes the maximum number of global multicast group memberships.

By default, the maximum number of multicast group memberships is not configured.

Specifies the maximum number of global multicast group memberships. The value is an integer that ranges from 1 to 1000.

Usage Guidelines

The maximum number of global multicast group memberships is configured to limit access of multicast users on a device. When the number of global multicast group memberships reaches the maximum value, new users are prevented from joining multicast groups.
