The defence engine enable command enables the security engine.

The undo defence engine enable command disables the security engine.

By default, the security engine is disabled.

The AD9431DN-24X does not support this function.

Usage Scenario

You can run the defence engine enable command to enable the security engine for security functions such as URL filtering, intrusion prevention system (IPS), antivirus, and smart application control.


If you need to disable the security engine after it is enabled, run the undo defence engine enable command and then manually restart the device. Before the restart, ensure that the configuration files have been saved.
