Usage Guidelines

By default, the function of outputting extended information of IPS logs is disabled.

In a scenario where this function is enabled, when HTTP traffic passes through a proxy, the Central AP resolves the X-Forwarded-For field in the HTTP packet header to obtain the real IP address and records this address in the extended information. If multiple-level proxy exists, the information records a maximum of eight IP addresses.

The information is added only when the Central AP outputs IPS logs to the log server.

Example

# Enable the function of outputting extended information of IPS logs.
