Usage Guidelines
Usage Scenario
The per-flow load balancing mode does not prevent packet loss in some services, such as a voice service that has fixed source and destination IP addresses. Therefore, if the per-flow load balancing mode does not meet the service reliability requirement, run the load-balance packet command to enable the per-packet load balancing mode.
If packet-based load balancing is used, packets are forwarded through different links. Packet-based load balancing can only be performed on packets that are sent to the CPU for software forwarding.
Configuration Impact
This command takes effect for packets delivered by hosts and those processed by the CPU.
