profile type ips (attack defense profile view)


The profile type ips command binds an intrusion prevention profile to an attack defense profile.

The undo profile type ips command unbinds an intrusion prevention profile from an attack defense profile.

By default, no intrusion prevention profile is bound to an attack defense profile.


profile type ips profile-name

undo profile type ips






Specifies the name of an intrusion prevention profile.

The intrusion prevention profile must already exist.

Usage Scenario

After creating an intrusion prevention profile using the profile type ips name command, bind it to the attack defense profile.


Only one intrusion prevention profile can be bound to an attack defense profile.
