Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In Portal authentication, the device needs to provide the IP address of the Portal server. The device supports external and built-in Portal servers. When the built-in Portal server is required to authenticate users, enable the built-in Portal server function globally and then run the portal local-server enable command in the Portal access profile. Then the built-in Portal server can be used to authenticate the users who use the Portal access profile.

The built-in Portal server function has been enabled globally using the portal local-server command.
