Function

The display interface wlan-radio command displays the status and configuration of a wlan-radio interface.

Format

display interface wlan-radio [ wlan-radio-number | main ]

wlan-radio-number Displays the status and configuration of a radio interface with a specified number.
The value can be:
  • 0/0/0
  • 0/0/1
  • 0/0/2
NOTE:

All types of APs support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio interfaces.

On APs supporting radio switching between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, some radios support both the two bands. However, such radios can work on one band at a time. You can run the frequency command to change the working frequency band of Radio 0.

main Displays the status and configuration of a radio interface.

A radio interface has no subinterface. The command displays the status and configuration of a radio interface regardless of whether main is specified.

Usage Scenario

To monitor an interface or locate an interface fault, you can use the display interface wlan-radio command to view the interface status and interface configuration on the interface.

Precautions

If [ wlan-radio-number | main ] is not specified, the display interface wlan-radio command displays information about all wlan-radio interfaces in the system.

Line protocol current state

Status of the link-layer protocol on a wlan-radio interface. The value is UP or Down.

Description

Description of a wlan-radio interface.

Switch Port

Indicates that the interface is a Layer 2 interface.

TPID

Type of frames that are supported on the interface.

By default, this field displays 0x8100, indicating an 802.1Q frame. If the device does not support 802.1Q frames, the interface discards the 802.1Q frames immediately after receiving them.

This field is displayed only for a Layer 2 interface.

The Maximum Transmit Unit

Specifies the MTU of a wlan-radio interface.

IP Sending Frames' Format

Encapsulation format of IP packets, which can be PKTFMT_ETHNT_2, Ethernet_802.3, or Ethernet_SNAP.

Hardware address

MAC address of the wlan-radio interface.

Last physical up time

Last time the interface went Up physically. If this field displays "-", the physical status of the interface does not change.

Last physical down time

Last time the interface went Down physically. If this field displays "-", the physical status of the interface does not change.

Current system time

Indicates the current system time.

If the system is configured with a time zone and is in the summer time, the time is displayed in the format of YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss UTC±hh:mm DST.

Input/Output bandwidth utilization

Inbound/outbound bandwidth utilization on an interface.
