Summary of BFD Configuration Tasks

The device supports the following BFD features: BFD session setup, BFD detection mode, single-hop and multi-hop BFD, static BFD with automatically negotiated discriminators, BFD Echo function, association, and dynamic change of BFD parameters.

Table 2-5 describes the BFD configuration tasks.

This function is mainly used in scenarios where static routes are used to implement Layer 3 connectivity.
