Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The device preferentially uses the BTM mode to trigger STA migration to the target AP. Due to differences of STAs, some STAs can be successfully migrated in BTM mode after multiple attempts. You can run the btm-fail-times command to set the maximum number of attempts to migrate STAs in BTM mode. If the number of attempts exceeds the specified value, the device attempts to migrate STAs in deauthentication mode.

Precautions

You are advised to retain the default value. If the success rate of STA migration in BTM mode is low, you can set a smaller value to improve the migration efficiency.

This command is valid only in sta-number mode.

Example

# Set the maximum number of attempts to migrate STAs in BTM mode to 4.
