Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

You can use this command to add or modify a slave X series interface card in a WLAN work group. After a slave X series interface card is configured, the two X series interface cards work in hot backup mode. When the master X series interface card fails, the slave X series interface card undertakes ongoing WLAN services. When the master card recovers, WLAN services are not switched back until the slave card becomes faulty.

Each WLAN work group can contain only one slave X series interface card.

Maximum numbers of supported users and APs must be the same on both X series cards.

Before modifying a slave X series interface card, run the state block command to set the WLAN work group in block state. After that, run the ap-reset work-group and cut access-user work-group commands to force APs and STAs offline.

# Add the slave X series interface card in slot 2 to the WLAN work group 1.
