MPLS/4/ADD_LSPTBL_FAIL

Message

MPLS/4/ADD_LSPTBL_FAIL: Add lsp table failed because of insufficient resource. (Label=[ULONG])

Description

An LSP entry failed to be added because resources are insufficient.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
Label Indicates the MPLS label value.

Possible Causes

The number of LSPs has reached the limit of the card.

Procedure

  1. Run the display mpls lsp statistics and display mpls l2vpn resource commands to check services that consume many resources.
  2. Run the display current-configuration command to check detailed device configuration. Delete MPLS services that are not required, such as LDP LSP, MPLS TE, VPLS, VLL, and L3VPN.
  3. Run the display mpls lsp statistics and display mpls l2vpn resource commands to check whether there are available resources. If so, the problem is rectified. If the problem is not rectified, go to step 4.
  4. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel. You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.

MPLS/4/L2VPN_ADD_VFP

Message

MPLS/4/L2VPN_ADD_VFP: Add VFP Entry failed. (SlotId=[ULONG])

Description

The device failed to add VFP entries.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
SlotId Indicates the numbers of the card and device where resources are exhausted.

Possible Causes

1. VFP entry resources are exhausted.

2. The operation of adding the VFP entry is incorrect.

Procedure

  1. Run the display acl resource command to check whether VLAN ACL or VACL resources are exhausted.

    • If so, go to step 2.
    • If not, go to step 4.

  2. Run the display acl resource [ slot slot ] command to view information about ACL resources, including ACL4 and ACL6 resources.
  3. Run the display current-configuration command to check the current configuration on the switch.
  4. Check the services that occupy ACL resources based on ACL resource information and the current configuration as follows, and delete unnecessary services to release ACL resources.

    • Check whether NAC, IPSG, MQC, and ACL-based simplified traffic policy services that occupy a large amount of ACL resources exist on the switch.
    • Check the services that occupy ACL resources based on fields in the ACL resource information. For example, MQC, ACL-based simplified traffic policy, SVF, MPLS, and BFD for VPLS services occupy UDF ACL resources. If a large amount of UDF ACL resources are occupied, check these services first.

  5. Reconfigure a VSI and check whether the problem is rectified. If the problem is not rectified, go to step 6.
  6. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel. You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.

  3. Run the display mpls l2vpn resource command to check there are available resources. If so, the problem is rectified.
  4. When many VSIs are configured on the device and a large number of interfaces are added to the VLANs bound to the VSIs, VP index resources may be insufficient. Remove unnecessary interfaces from the VLAN bound to a VSI. If the problem persists, go to step 5.
  5. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel. You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.

MPLS/4/RPC_CALL_FAIL

Possible Causes

The RPC module failed to send messages.

Procedure

  1. Run the display device command to check whether the LPU has registered.

    • If so, go to step 3.
    • If not, go to step 2.

  2. If the LPU has not registered, RPC communication fails, which is normal. This log is informational only, and no action is required.
  3. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel. You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.

MPLS/4/MPLS_PHP_RESLACK

The device failed to deliver PHP-related ACLs because ACL resources are insufficient.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
STRING Displays why the PHP-incapable device failed to deliver PHP-related ACLs.

Possible Causes

The number of labels of the PHP type exceeds the upper limit on the device.

Procedure

  1. Run the label advertise { explicit-null | non-null } command in the MPLS view of the switch directly connected to the local device to enable the egress switch to distribute a label without an explicit null label to the PHP node.
  2. Run the reset mpls ldp command in the user view of the local device to reset LDP globally.

MPLS/4/MOAM_ADD_ACL

The hardware failed to deliver ACLs.

Procedure

  1. Run the display acl resource [ slot slot ] command to view information about ACL resources, including ACL4 and ACL6 resources.
  2. Run the display current-configuration command to check the current configuration on the switch.
