NQA/4/FALLING_ALARM

Message

NQA/4/FALLING_ALARM:The [alarm-node] defined in nqa alarm table(OwnerIndex = [OCTET] TestName = [OCTET] AlarmEntryNumber = [INTEGER])has alarm value [alarm-value],less than threshold [threshold]. It's alarm sample type is [alarm-sample-type].

Description

The value of the monitored node was below the lower limit.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[alarm-node] Indicates the node that generates the alarm.
OwnerIndex Indicates the administrator of the NQA test instance.
TestName Indicates the name of the NQA test instance.
AlarmEntryNumber Indicates the index of the alarm table.
[alarm-value] Indicates the value of the node that generates the alarm.
[threshold] Indicates the user-defined lower limit.
[alarm-sample-type] Indicates the type of the sampled alarm.

Possible Causes

The value of the monitored node was below the lower limit.

Procedure

  1. Run the display nqa-agent command and check alarm entry-number jitter-average absolute falling-threshold to see the threshold value is proper.
    1. If the lower limit is too large, run the alarm command to set the lower limit to be a proper value, and then go to 3.
    2. If the lower limit is proper, go to 2.
  2. If the alarm is generated because of a network problem, check the configurations and services of the network, and contact technical support personnel.
  3. End.

NQA/4/RISING_ALARM

Message

NQA/4/RISING_ALARM:The [alarm-node] defined in nqa alarm table(OwnerIndex=[OCTET] TestName=[OCTET] AlarmEntryNumber=[INTEGER])has alarm value [alarm-value],going out of threshold [threshold].It's alarm sample type is [alarm-sample-type].

Description

The value of the monitored node was over the upper limit.

[threshold] Indicates the user-defined upper limit.
[alarm-sample-type] Indicates the type of the sampled alarm.

Possible Causes

The value of the monitored node was over the upper limit.

Procedure

  1. Run the display nqa-agent command and check alarm entry-number jitter-average absolute rising-threshold to see whether the threshold value is proper.
    1. If the upper limit is too small, run the alarm command to set the upper limit to be a proper value, and then go to 3.
    2. If the upper limit is proper, go to 2.
  2. If the alarm is generated because of a network problem, check the configurations and services of the network, and contact technical support personnel.
  3. End.

NQA/4/UPLOAD_FILE

Message

NQA/4/UPLOAD_FILE: The operation of uploading file completed. (SrcFile=[SrcFile], FileSize=[FileSize]Bytes, DstFile=[DstFile], TransferProtocol=[TransferProtocol], UserName=[UserName], DstHost=[DstHost], VPN=[VPN], Time=[Time], Result=[Result])

Description

A file was uploaded onto a server using FTP or SFTP.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
SrcFile Source file name
FileSize File size, in bytes
DstFile Target file name
TransferProtocol Transport protocol
UserName User name
DstHost Destination IP address
VPN VPN instance name
Time Date and time
Result Upload result

Possible Causes

NQA automatically uploaded a test result file.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the parameters of the push function and network connections are connect. If the parameters and network connections are correct, record the log file and Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

NQA/4/WRITEFILE_FAILED

Message

NQA/4/WRITEFILE_FAILED: Failed to write the file. (FileName=[FileName], FileSize=[FileSize]Bytes, Reason=[Reason])

Description

Failed to write test results into a file.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
FileName Source file name
FileSize File size, in bytes
Reason Reason why the failure occurs

Possible Causes

Test results failed to be written into a file.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the parameters of the push function and network connections are connect. If the parameters and network connections are correct, record the log file and Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
