Message

VRRP/5/DELTRACK3AH:Warning: The virtual router tracks EFM on an absent interface. This causes the bound configuration to be automatically deleted. Continue?: [Y/N]

Description

When you configure VRRP track EFM session or link BFD, and VRRP has been configured to an absent EFM session, the note will remind you.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

[Y/N]

Y or N. Y means continue, and N means stop.

Possible Causes

reason 1:

VRRP has been configured to track an absent EFM session.

reason 2:

Then configure VRRP track EFM session or link BFD.

Procedure

  1. This log message is informational only, and no action is required.

Description

When the VRRP status changed, the following information is logged: the interface name, status change, and reason of the status change.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[State]

indicates the status change. The value is specified as follows:

  1. INITIALIZE changed to MASTER.

  2. BACKUP changed to MASTER.

  3. MASTER changed to BACKUP.

  4. MASTER changed to INITIALIZE.

  5. BACKUP changed to NOTACTIVE.
Interface indicates the name of an interface.
VrId indicates the ID of a VRRP backup group.
InetType indicates the type of network.

Possible Causes

The reason corresponding to a specific error code is as follows:

1: The fault of a device or a link occurred.

2: The fault recovered on a device or a link.

3: The configuration changed.

Procedure

  1. For a device fault, check the status of the interface configured with VRRP.
  2. For a link fault, check the status of the VRRP link.
  3. For a device or link recovery, no action is required.
  4. For a configuration change, check the VRRP configuration.

Description

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The device or the link was faulty.

Cause 2: The device or the link was recovered.

Cause 3: The configuration changed.

Procedure

  1. If the device was faulty, check the status of the interface configured with VRRP.
  2. If the link was faulty, check the status of the link configured with VRRP.
  3. If the device or the link was recovered, no action is required.
  4. If the configuration changed, check the VRRP configuration.

VRRP/4/CHKFAIL

Message

VRRP/4/CHKFAIL:The ISSU check failed because of the [reason].

Description

The ISSU check on VRRP modules failed because specifications changed or were incompatible.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

Indicates causes for the ISSU check failure. The causes are as follows:
  • failure in getting specification data: Failed to obtain the specification data.

  • specification change: Specifications changed.

  • incompatible version: Versions were incompatible.

Possible Causes

Lossless ISSU was found not supported on VRRP modules after the specifications, incompatibility, and configurations were checked.

Procedure

  1. Stop the ISSU.
  2. Perform the lossy ISSU.
  3. Perform the ISSU after the PAF is updated.

VRRP/4/SPECCHANGED

Message

VRRP/4/SPECCHANGED:The VRRP specifications were changed in the new version. (Spec=[STRING], Value=[ULONG])

Description

During the ISSU configuration recovery, the changed fields of specifications and their values were recorded in this log message, if VRRP specifications were changed and incorrect logs were recorded.

Indicates the specification fields. The values are as follows:
  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_VIPMAX: indicates the number of virtual IP addresses.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_TRACK_BFD_MAX: indicates the maximum number of bound BFD sessions.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_TRACK_IF_MAX: indicates the maximum number of bound interfaces.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_PEER_BFD_MAX: indicates the maximum number of peer BFD sessions.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_LINK_BFD_MAX: indicates the maximum number of link BFD sessions.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_ADMIN_MAX: indicates the maximum number of mVRRP groups.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_SUB_OF_ADMIN_MAX: indicates the maximum number of service VRRP backup groups that can be bound to an mVRRP group.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_TRACK_IF_MAX: indicates the maximum number of service interfaces that can be bound to an mVRRP group.

  • VRRP_ISSU_SPEC_VIRTUAL_ROUTER_MAX: indicates the maximum number of VRRP backup groups that can be configured on an interface.

Indicates the values of the specifications.
