Clearing Events

Context

After event messages are cleared, there is no way for the NMS to obtain any information about these cleared messages. Therefore, before deleting event messages, be sure that the NMS no longer needs these event messages.

In routine maintenance, you can run the following commands in the event view to clear event messages.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run event

    The event view is displayed.

  3. Run clear event all

    Event messages are cleared.
