Locking Data Flows to a Specified Interface


To detect the active link in a Smart Link group, forcibly lock data flows to the standby link to prevent impact on services. After the detection is complete, switch data flows back to the active link.

If data flows are locked to an interface, they cannot be switched to the other interface automatically if this interface fails, causing traffic interruption.


  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run smart-link group group-id

    The Smart Link group view is displayed.

  3. Run one of the following commands as required.

    • Run the smart-link lock command to lock data flows to the master interface.
    • Run the smart-link force command to lock data flows to the slave interface.
