Displaying the Memory Usage


Memory usage is an important performance indicator of a device. A high memory usage may cause service faults. You can view the memory usage of a device in real time to determine whether the device is running stably.

You can view the memory usage threshold to check the alarm generation conditions.
  • When memory usage reaches the alarm threshold, the system generates a memory usage alarm.
  • When memory usage falls below the recovery threshold, the system generates a clear alarm.


  • Run the display memory-usage [ slave | slot slot-id ] [ vcpu vcpu-index ] command to view memory usage statistics.


    Only the switches with MCUD, SRUE, SRUF, SRUH, or SRUK support vcpu vcpu-index parameter.

  • Run the display memory-usage threshold [ slot slot-id ] command to view the memory usage threshold.
