When the voltage of a card is abnormal, you can run the following command to view the voltage of the card.

Procedure

  • Run the display voltage { all | slot slot-id } command to view the voltage of a specified card.

Possible Causes
  • The power module is faulty.
  • The card has a hardware fault.
Troubleshooting Procedure
  1. Check whether a power module is faulty.

    Use a power module that is known to be working to replace a power module that is suspected of being faulty and then run the display voltage slot slot-id command to check whether the voltage of cards returns to the normal range. Repeat this step for each power module and replace any faulty modules.

    If the fault persists, go to step 2.

  2. Check whether the voltage of the card for which an alarm is generated is normal.

    Run the display voltage slot slot-id command to check the voltage of the card.

    If the voltage is normal, no further action is required. Otherwise, go to step 3.

  3. Replace the card.

    Replace the card and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    If the fault persists, go to step 4.

  4. Collect the following information and contact Huawei technical support:

    • Results of the preceding troubleshooting procedure
    • Configuration file, logs, and alarms of the device
