Checking Whether Packet Loss Occurs on a CSS Link During Service Port Clustering

Context

If a CSS link is Up but packet loss or error packets are detected or the CSS status is unstable, check whether packet loss occurs between two directly connected CSS member ports. If the source CSS member port does not receive any response packet from the destination CSS member port within 1 second after sending test packets, packet loss occurs between the two CSS member ports.

  • This command is not supported in a single-chassis CSS.
  • The source and destination CSS member ports must belong to two different chassis.

Procedure

Run the css lpu port test source interface-type1 interface-number1 destination interface-type2 interface-number2 packet-len length packet-num number command to check whether packet loss occurs between two directly connected CSS member ports.
