(Optional) Configuring an OIDS Filter

Context

The devices that support association between OIDS and OPS can filter OIDS events by using log or trap filters. Three log events and three trap events are preset on the device to improve the efficiency of filtering logs or traps. A maximum of three log filters and three trap filters can be configured on the same device. Each filter can be configured with the conditions for filtering logs or traps. When the OIDS filter detects the logs or traps that meet the filter conditions, an OIDS event is generated.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run oids filter { log | trap } index module module-name alias alias-name

configures a log or trap filter.

By default, no log or trap filter is configured in the system.

Verifying the Configuration

  • Run the display oids filter command to information about a log or trap filter.
