  1. Run the display user-interface maximum-vty command to view the maximum number of VTY users. This number can be configured using the user-interface maximum-vty command.
  2. Run the display users command to check whether the number of login Telnet users exceeds the upper threshold.

    • If the number of login Telnet users exceeds the upper threshold, go to Step 2.
    • If the number of login Telnet users does not exceed the upper threshold, go to Step 3.

  3. Reduce the number of login users through Telnet.
  4. End.
