EMDI_MB

EMDI_MB

EMDI_MB_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.58 hwEMDIIndicatorOverThreshold

Description

EMDI_MB/4/EMDI_TRAP_OVERTHRESHOLD:OID [oid] The monitor indicator of the EMDI instance exceeded the threshold in 3 consecutive periods.(EmdiInstId=[INTEGER], Type=[INTEGER], Value=[INTEGER], Threshold=[INTEGER]/100000)

A monitoring indicator detected by an eMDI instance exceeded the alarm threshold in three consecutive monitoring intervals.

Attribute

Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type
1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.58 Warning qualityOfServiceAlarm(3)

Parameters

Name Meaning
OID Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.
EmdiInstId Indicates the eMDI instance ID.
Type

Indicates the eMDI alarm threshold type:

  • 1: Alarm generated when the loss rate of RTP packets transported over UDP exceeds the threshold
  • 2: Alarm generated when the out-of-order rate of RTP packets transported over UDP exceeds the threshold
  • 3: Alarm generated when the loss rate of downstream TCP packets exceeds the threshold
  • 4: Alarm generated when the loss rate of upstream TCP packets exceeds the threshold
Value Indicates the value of an eMDI monitoring indicator.
Threshold Indicates the eMDI alarm threshold.

Impact on the System

The network transmission quality deteriorates.

Possible Causes

The packet loss rate or out-of-order packet rate of services monitored by an eMDI instance exceeds the threshold.

Procedure

  1. Run the display emdi statistics instance command to check eMDI instance statistics and determine whether a fault occurs.
  2. Demarcate the fault based on statistics about eMDI instances on multiple devices.

EMDI_MB_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.59 hwEMDIIndicatorOverThresholdResume

Description

EMDI_MB/4/EMDI_TRAP_OVERTHRESHOLD_RESUME:OID [OID] The monitor indicator of the EMDI instance is lower than the threshold in 60 consecutive periods.(EmdiInstId=[INTEGER], Type=[INTEGER], Value=[INTEGER], Threshold=[INTEGER]/100000)

A monitoring indicator detected by an eMDI instance fell below the alarm threshold in 60 consecutive monitoring intervals.

Attribute

Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type
1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.59 Warning qualityOfServiceAlarm(3)

None

Possible Causes

The quality of services monitored by the eMDI instance resumed.

Procedure

  • This alarm message is informational only, and no action is required.

EMDI_MB_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.60 hwEMDIReceiveDuplicatePackets

Description

EMDI_MB/4/EMDI_TRAP_RECVDUPLICATEPACKET:OID [OID] The device received duplicate packets in 3 consecutive periods.(EmdiInstId=[INTEGER])

The out-of-order packet rate detected by an eMDI instance was greater than the packet loss rate in three consecutive monitoring intervals, and multiple flows existed on the network.

Attribute

Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type
1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.60 Warning qualityOfServiceAlarm(3)

Parameters

Name Meaning
OID Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.
EmdiInstId Indicates the eMDI instance ID.

Impact on the System

Statistics about the eMDI instance may be inaccurate.

Possible Causes

Only a few parameter types were configured when the target flow was defined. As a result, the target flow range was large.

Procedure

  1. Configure more types of parameters to define target flows more precisely. For example, specify the source and destination port numbers to define the target flow.
    • If the target flows to be monitored are transported over UDP, run the flow ipv4 udp command to configure the target UDP flows to be monitored by an eMDI instance.
    • If the target flows to be monitored are transported over TCP, run the flow ipv4 tcp command to configure the target TCP flows to be monitored by an eMDI instance.
  2. If the alarm persists, collect alarm and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

EMDI_MB_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.61 hwEMDIReceiveDuplicatePacketsResume

Description

EMDI_MB/4/EMDI_TRAP_RECVDUPPACKET_RESUME:OID [OID] The device didn't received duplicate packets again in 60 consecutive periods.(EmdiInstId=[INTEGER])

The out-of-order packet rate detected by an eMDI instance was less than the packet loss rate in 60 consecutive monitoring intervals, and the multi-flow alarm was cleared.

Attribute

Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type
1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.61 Warning qualityOfServiceAlarm(3)

Parameters

Name Meaning
OID Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.
EmdiInstId Indicates the eMDI instance ID.

Impact on the System

None

Possible Causes

The out-of-order packet rate detected by an eMDI instance was less than the packet loss rate in 60 consecutive monitoring intervals.

Procedure

  • This alarm message is informational only, and no action is required.
