Indicates the ID of an RRPP domain.

ring-id

Indicates the ID of an RRPP ring.

Impact on the System

Data flows will be interrupted in milliseconds when the link is switched.

Possible Causes

The complete ring became incomplete because a link was faulty on the ring.

Procedure

  1. Run the display rrpp verbose domain domain-id command to check whether the status of each interface is unknown.

    • If so, go to Step 3.

    • If not, go to Step 2.

  2. Run the display rrpp verbose domain domain-id command to check whether the status of each interface is Down.

    • If so, go to Step 5.

    • If not, go to Step 9.

  3. Check whether the interface board corresponding to the port is pulled out.

    • If so, go to Step 7.

The configuration is incorrect. The RRPP ring will fail if it has multiple master nodes.

Possible Causes

The RRPP ring had more than one master node. As a result, service traffic is interrupted.

Procedure

  1. Run the display rrpp verbose domain domain-id command to check whether multiple master nodes exist on the RRPP ring.

    • If so, go to Step 2.

    • If not, go to Step 3.
