Adding an Object

This operation allows you to add LUNs or LUN consistency groups to a backup plan.


  • A backup plan has been created on the storage system.
  • New protected objects exist.


  1. Choose Data Protection > CloudBackup > Backup and Restoration > Backup Plan.
  2. Select the desired backup plan and choose More > Add Object.

    The Add Object dialog box is displayed.

  3. Add LUNs or LUN consistency groups.

    • Select the LUNs you want to add and click to move them to Selected LUNs.
    • Select the LUN consistency groups you want to add and click to move them to Selected LUN Consistency Groups.

    The new backup objects will take effect since the next backup task.

  4. Click OK.

    The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation is successful.

  5. Click Close.
