Managing Backup Plans
A backup plan consists of protected objects, a backup policy, and a repository. Each backup plan can be associated with only one backup policy and one repository. You can view, modify, clone, and delete backup plans.
- Viewing Backup Plan Information
You can check the information of a backup plan, including its basic information, protected LUNs or LUN consistency groups, backup tasks, and backup images. - Modifying the Properties of a Backup Plan
This operation allows you to modify the backup plan to meet your requirements. - Activating a Backup Plan
This operation allows you to activate a backup plan. - Cloning a Backup Plan
This operation allows you to clone an existing backup policy to a new backup plan and modify the backup policy as required. - Running a Backup Plan
This operation allows you to run a backup task immediately. - Performing a Full Backup
This operation allows you to perform a full backup immediately. - Deactivating a Backup Plan
This operation allows you to deactivate a backup plan. After being deactivated, the backup plan will not be executed by the system. - Adding an Object
This operation allows you to add LUNs or LUN consistency groups to a backup plan. - Removing an Object
This operation allows you to remove LUNs or LUN consistency groups from a backup plan. - Enabling Offline Transmission
After offline transmission is enabled, the Teleport device is the backup storage for subsequent backup tasks. - Pausing Offline Transmission
After offline transmission is paused, return the Teleport device to the data center of the object storage. - Disabling Offline Transmission
After offline transmission is disabled, the object storage on the cloud becomes the backup storage for subsequent backup tasks. - Deleting a Backup Plan
You can delete a backup plan when it is no longer needed. - Adding a Backup Plan to a LUN or LUN Consistency Group
This operation allows you to add a backup plan to a LUN or LUN consistency group to back up its data.
