How Can I Solve the Problem if the Flash Plug-in Cannot be Loaded in a Chrome Browser?


When the Chrome browser is used to access SystemReporter, the following symptoms may occur when Create Notification Rule, Create Administrator, Create Administrator Group, or Analyze Performance Data is selected:

  • There is no alarm sound.
  • On the Analyze Performance Data page, the button in the following figure is grey and inactive.

  • This plug-in is not supported or Adobe Flash Player is out of date is displayed, as shown in the following figures.

Possible Causes

Adobe Flash Player is disabled by Chrome.

Recommended Actions

  1. In the browser, enter to go the Adobe website.
  2. In Step 1, select an operating system. In Step 2, select an option that contains PPAPI. Click Download now.
  3. Install Adobe Flash Player and restart the Chrome browser.
  4. Use Chrome to access SystemReporter. If this problem still exists, use Internet Explorer.
