After changing the time zone of the server running Red Hat and restarting the SystemReporter service, the time zone displayed on the SystemReporter remains unchanged.

Possible Cause

Not all the configurations related to the time zone are changed.

Troubleshooting Procedure

  1. Log in to the Red Hat operating system using the graphical user interface (GUI). Choose SystemAdministrationDate&Time to change the time zone.

  2. Set the desired time zone, select System clock uses UTC, and click OK.

  3. Restart SystemReporter and check whether the time zone displayed on the SystemReporter is correct. If yes, no further action is required; if no, keep the environment intact and contact technical support engineers.
