Checking the Database Environment Variable

If the current version is V100R001, upgrade the MySQL database to the GaussDB database in the system where the SystemReporter is installed before upgrading the database, ensure that the environment variables of the MySQL database are correctly saved in the system configuration.

Check the MySQL database environment variables as follows:

  1. On the command-line interface (CLI), type path and press Enter. In the output, check whether PATH contains the MySQL path.

    If yes, the configuration is correct.

    For example:

    If no, go to 2

  2. Windows Server 2008 is used as an example,Right-click Computer and choose Properties.
  3. In the dialog box that is displayed, click Advanced System Settings.
  4. On the Advanced tab page, click Environment Variables. Double-click the Path variable in System Variables and add MySQL installation directory\bin to PATH, as shown in the following figure:
