change system shutdown


The change system shutdown command is used to shut down a storage system.


change system shutdown





password The password of the current user.

The value contains 8 to 32 characters. The password cannot be the same as the user name or the reverse of the user name. Its length and complexity depend on users' security policies, see to change system user safe_strategy.



Usage Guidelines

After this command is executed, the storage system is shut down and all ongoing tasks exit from the storage system.


Shut down a storage system.

admin:/>change system shutdown
DANGER: You are about to shut down the cluster. This operation takes a long time, shuts down all VMs and interrupts all the services on the storage system. Please stop all the services on the storage system and make sure all VMs can be shut down normally before performing this operation.
