The change node frozen command is used to freeze a node.


change node frozen < id >





id Node ID.

The value can contain 1 to 127 letters, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.).

Usage Guidelines

  • Before running this command to freeze a node, run show system arbitration_information to check system arbitration information and determine whether the node can be frozen.
  • Before running this command to freeze a node, ensure that more than three normal nodes exist in the node pool: Otherwise, system reliability deteriorates.
  • You can disable, freeze, power off, or restart only one node to ensure data security.
  • After a node is frozen, the node declines new service requests but must process accepted service requests.


Freeze a node.
