Function

The add virtual_machine vmtools command is used to add VMTools to a VM.

Format

add virtual_machine vmtools <vm_id> <os_type> <vmtools_package>

Parameters

vm_id VM ID.

Query information about all VMs by pressing "Ctrl+A".

os_type Type of guest operating system.

"Linux"; "Windows".

vmtools_package Installation package name of VMTools.

The value can contain 5 to 63 characters, including letters, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.), midline(-) and dots(.) can not be used as the first character, and two dots(.) can not be together, with rpm as the file name extension.
