change camera auth_flag

Function

The change camera auth_flag command is used to change the authentication mode of a camera of the view library type, and change the username and password in this authentication mode.

Format

change camera auth_flag <camera_id> <auth_flag>

Parameters

Value

camera_id Camera ID.

The value is a string of 1 to 20 characters excluding the slash (/) and cannot be a period (.) or two periods (..). \s indicates a space, \| indicates |, \q indicates ?, and \\ indicates \.

auth_flag Authentication flag.

Needless: Authentication is not required.

BasicAuth: The Basic authentication mode is required.

DigestAuth: The Digest authentication mode is required.

Hmac: The Hmac authentication mode is required.

passwd_rule Password rule.

inner: Internal rules must be complied with (the length complies with the value set in the security policy, that is, 8 to 64 characters). The password must contain at least two types of the following characters: Uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and digits. The value cannot be the same as or reverse of the user name. A maximum of three consecutive repeated characters are allowed. outer: External rules must be complied with (1 to 64 characters).

user_name Camera user name.

The value is a string of 1 to 64 characters. \s indicates a space, \| indicates |, \q indicates ?, and \\ indicates \.

password Camera password.

Character string (checking the password validity based on the password rule).

old_password Old password of the camera.

The old password is used to check whether the password of the camera is the same as that in the database.If the previous authentication mode is Needless, you do not need to enter it.

Usage Guidelines

You can run the change camera auth_flag command to change the authentication mode of a camera of the view library type, and change the username and password in this authentication mode.

Example

  • Change the authentication mode of a camera that needs to be authenticated to Needless.

    admin:/>change camera auth_flag camera001 Needless
    Please enter your old password:******
    CAUTION: You are about to modify the authFlag parameter. If the parameter settings are incorrect, image data may fail to be received.
    Suggestion: Ensure that the authFlag parameter is the same as that of the camera .

  • Change the authentication mode of a camera from Needless to Basic.

    admin:/>change camera auth_flag camera001 BasicAuth outer user
