Function

The create directory_share cifs command is used to create a common Internet file system (CIFS) share.

Format

create directory_share cifs < name > < share_path > [ description=? ] [ enable_op_Lock=? ] [ enable_enotify=? ] [ enable_failover=? ] [ offlineFileMode=? ] [ enable_abe=? ]

Parameters

Value

name Share name.

The value can contain only 1 to 80 letters and cannot contain special characters including "/\[]:|<>+=;,?*.

share_path Share path.

The value contains 1 to 4000 characters and cannot contain special characters including \.

The path format is /directory name.

description Share description.

The value contains 1 to 255 characters.

enable_op_lock Optimization lock switch.

enable: enable the function.

disable: disable the function.

enable_enotify Operation notification switch.

If this function is enabled, a client's operation on a directory (adding directories, adding files, modifying directories, or modifying files) can be perceived by other clients that are accessing the directory or its parent directory.

enable: enable the function.

disable: disable the function.

enable_failover failover switch.

If this function is enabled and one node is offline during file copy, the file copy continues on another node.

enable: enable the function.

disable: disable the function.

offlineFileMode Offline File Mode.

none:No files or programs from the shared folder are available offline.

manual:Only the files and programs that users specify are available offline.

documents:All files and programs that users open from the shared folder are automatically available offline.

programs:Optimized for performance.

enable_abe Switch of permission-based directory enumeration.

The value can be "enable" or "disable", where:

  • "enable": enables the ABE function.
  • "disable": disables the ABE function.
The default value is "disable".
