The change sync_certkey command is used to change the key.


change sync_certkey





certkey Symmetric key used for encryption

Used for sensitive information synchroniztaion and encryption between CMs of different nodes.The value contains 8 to 32 characters. The key complexity depends on users' security policies.

A key must contain any two character types of special characters, digits, uppercase and lowercase characters.

Special characters include `~!@#$%^&*()-_=+\\|[{}];:'\",<.>/?.



Usage Guidelines

  • You must encrypt the sensitive information that is synchronized between the primary and secondary CMs.
  • You can change keys. After you change the keys, the keys are allocated to CM of every nodes in the cluster. Encryption keys are updated. CM use the new keys to synchronize information in the follow-up operations.
  • You only need to enter the key once, and key confirmation is not necessary.
