Function

The change task_policy command is used to change policy attributes, for example, policy name.

Format

change task_policy < policy_id > [ description=? ] [ dispatchTime=? ] [ dispatchType=? ] [ jobImpact=? ] [ jobInput=? ] [ jobParallelism=? ] [ jobPriority=? ] [ name=? ] [ scheduleDispatchTime=? ]

Value

policy_id Policy ID.

The value is a character string that includes digits, letters, underscores (_), and periods (.). The value is 1 to 127 characters in length. If this parameter is not specified, all policies will be queried.

name Policy name.

The value can contain only 1 to 63 letters, digits, periods (.), underscores (_), hyphens (-), and commas (,).

description Policy description.

The value contains 1 to 255 characters.

jobPriority Priority.

This value is an integer between "1" and "100" with "1" and "100" indicating the lowest and highest priority respectively.

jobImpact Impact level.

Impact level ID.

dispatchtype Dispatch type.

The value is "0", "1", or "2", where:

  • "0": one-time tasks.
  • "1": periodic takes that are dispatched at specific time of a day.
  • "2": periodic tasks that are dispatched with a fixed interval.
scheduleDispatchtime Dispatch period.

This parameter is valid only when "JobDispatchType" is set to "1". The value is in the following format: [{"weekday":"2","startTime":"010000","endTime":"235959"},...].

weekday:0-6 ->Sunday to Saturday.

dispatchTime Dispath frequency or delay time.

This parameter is valid only when "dispatchType" is set to "0" or "2". If the value is set to 10 minutes, periodic tasks will be executed every 10 minutes, and one-time tasks are executed will scheduled and executed in 10 minutes. The value ranges between 1 minute and 30 days expressed in minutes.

jobInput Task input parameter.

The value is dependent on the specific task.

jobParallelism Number of tasks that can be executed concurrently.

The value is an integer between "1" and "20".

Usage Guidelines

  • This command is used to change policy attributes.
  • For one-time tasks (dispatchType=0), values of the following parameters cannot be modified: "dispatchTime", "dispatchType", and "scheduleDispatchTime".
  • For periodic tasks that are executed with a fixed interval (dispatchType=2), the value of "scheduleDispatchTime" cannot be modified.
  • For periodic tasks that are executed at specific time of a day (dispatchType=1), the value of "dispatchTime" cannot be modified.
