Parameters

Parameter

Description

Value

node_id Node ID.

The value contains 1 to 127 characters, including letter, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.).

slot_id Disk slot ID.

The disk slot IDs of the C72 node are different from those of other nodes. The disk slot IDs of the C72 node are combinations of letters A to E and numbers 0 to 14, for example, A01 and B10. The disk slot IDs of other nodes range from 00 to 71.

Level

Device administrator

Usage Guidelines

  • The upgrade disk <node_id> command upgrades the firmware of all disks on the node. Before running this command, you must run the change node frozen command to freeze the node.
  • The upgrade disk <node_id> [slot_id=?] command upgrades the firmware of the disk in a slot on the node. Before running this command, you do not need to freeze the node but need to check whether a data recovery or migration task is ongoing. To check for the data recovery or migration task, click Task Management in the lower right pane on DeviceManager.
  • After the command is successfully executed, wait about five minutes. Five minutes later, you can run the show upgrade disk_result command to query the upgrade result. If the value is 2 (for disks that have been upgraded) or 6 (for disks that do not need to be upgraded), the upgrade is successful.
