change ndmp_service username_password

Function

The change ndmp_service username_password command is used to set the username and pasword of the NDMP service.

Format

change ndmp_service username_password < user_name >

Value

user_name NDMP username.

The value is a character string that is 1 to 31 characters in length and include letters, numbers, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.). It cannot end with hyphens (-), underscores (_), or periods (.). The username will be used as the final username.

password NDMP password

The value contains 8 to 31 characters.The value must contain special characters and at least two of the following types: lowercase characters, uppercase characters, and digits, and be different from the user name or mirror writing of the user name.The password can contain special characters and special characters does not need to be escaped.Special characters include: `~!@#$%^&*()-_=+|[{}];:'\",<.>/?. and space.

Usage Guidelines

Enter the username first. Run the "show ndmp_service" command to query existing usernames, or you can enter a new username. You will be prompted to enter the old password and enter the new password twice. Errors will display if you enter an incorrect old password or two inconsistent new passwords.

Example

Set the password of the NDMP service.

admin:/>change ndmp_service username_password ndmp
