change system startup


The change system startup command is used to start a storage system.


change system startup < ipmi_pwd >





ipmi_pwd Password for logging in to the IPMI.

The value contains 1 to 32 characters.



Usage Guidelines

  • This command can be executed only after you start the node corresponding to the management IP address and another one of the first three nodes in a cluster. Otherwise, the management IP address is ineffective.

    Note:Management IP address: The management IP address is the floating IP address and can float to any NIC0 port of the first three nodes in a storage system cluster. An administrator can use it to log in to the DeviceManager.

  • After this command is executed, the storage system starts in five to ten minutes. The startup duration depends on the number of nodes.


Start a storage system.
