Function

The change directory_share cifs command is used to modify the description of a common Internet file system (CIFS) share.

Format

change directory_share cifs < id > [ description=? ] [ enable_op_lock=? ] [ enable_enotify=? ] [ enable_failover=? ] [ offlineFileMode=? ] [ enable_abe=? ]

Parameters

Value

id CIFS share ID.

The value can contain only 1 to 127 letters, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.).

description Share description.

The value contains 1 to 255 characters.

enable_op_lock Optimization lock switch.

enable: enable the function.

disable: disable the function.

enable_enotify Operation notification switch.

If this function is enabled, a client's operation on a directory (adding directories, adding files, modifying directories, or modifying files) can be perceived by other clients that are accessing the directory or its parent directory.

enable: enable the function.

disable: disable the function.

enable_failover failover switch.

If this function is enabled and one node is offline during file copy, the file copy continues on another node.

enable: enable the function.

disable: disable the function.

offlineFileMode Offline File Mode.

none:Shared directory for all files and programs can not be used off-line operation.

manual:Shared directory only specified files and program can be used offline.

documents:When the shared directory or ask price program is opened automatically cached locally for offline operation uses.

programs:When you run the executable file in a shared directory , the program automatically cached locally ; when the next execution , automatic access to the local cache programs.

enable_abe Switch of permission-based directory enumeration.

The value can be "enable" or "disable", where:

  • "enable": enables the ABE function.
  • "disable": disables the ABE function.
The default value is "disable".
