reboot virtual_machine

The reboot virtual_machine command is used to reboot a VM. If you restart the VM normally, stop all running software and processes in case of data loss. A forcible restart may damage the hardware and file system; therefore, exercise caution when performing this operation.

Usage Guidelines

1.Batch command operations are mutually exclusive. When you start VMs in a batch, another batch operation is not allowed.

2.Mutual exclusion between the batch command operations has a timeout duration. Node exceptions make the batch operation remaining in the running status. When the wait period exceeds the timeout duration, the mutual exclusion is unlocked. The timeout duration is 20 minutes.

3.Batch operations and non-batch operations are mutually independent. Therefore, when batch operation commands are performed, the non-batch operation commands can run normally.

4.The VM can be rebooted forcibly only when the VM Agent service of the VM is started.
