NAT Multi-instance

NAT multi-instance allows hosts that belong to different MPLS VPNs but have the same private IP address to access a public network through the same egress device simultaneously. As shown in Figure 5-14, host A and host B have the same private IP address, but they belong to different VPNs. NAT associated with VPNs is enabled to differentiate the hosts in different VPNs. In this manner, host A and host B can access the public network server simultaneously.
