Configuring Trap Sending Upon Probe Result Changes

Context

If this function is not configured, a device sends a trap to the NMS server every time a probe is finished. Frequently receiving traps will affect performance of the NMS server. After this function is configured, a device sends a trap to the NMS server only when the probe result changes.
NOTE:
This function supports only ICMP test instances.

Procedure

  1. Run:

    system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run:

    nqa test-instance admin-name test-name

    The NQA test instance view is displayed.

  3. Run:

    send-trap testresult-change

    The device is configured to send a trap only when the probe result changes.

    By default, a device sends a trap every time a probe is finished.
